Memo Push ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Memo Push mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully.
Memo Push notifications are triggered entirely on-device. Your precise GPS location and the contents of your checklists are never transmitted to our servers during normal operation unless you explicitly sync data to your account.
We use the information we collect to:
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8). We may retain certain information for legal or legitimate business purposes after account deletion.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Memo Push is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@memopush.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Memo Push requires "Always" location permission on iOS and equivalent background location access on Android to monitor geofences while the app is not in the foreground. This is necessary for the core functionality of the Service. You can revoke location permissions at any time in your device's system settings, but doing so will disable geofence monitoring. We never use location data for advertising purposes.
Geofence-triggered reminders are generated and delivered entirely on your device using the operating system's local notification framework. These notifications do not pass through our servers. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's notification settings.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where transfers occur outside the EEA or UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
